The Flowerpot Portable VP9 brings Verner Panton’s instantly recognisable Flowerpot design into a compact, cordless format. First designed in 1968, the collection is defined by two opposing hemispherical forms: the upper shade directs light towards the lower element, creating a soft, reflected glow with a distinctive graphic silhouette.

Designed to move easily from one setting to another, the VP9 is suited to bedside tables, shelves, dining settings and relaxed corners of the home. Its portable construction allows the atmosphere to shift with the occasion, while the integrated dimming function makes it possible to adjust the light from a gentle ambient glow to a more focused level for evening use.

Finished in Signal Green, this version gives Panton’s rounded 1960s profile a clear, contemporary presence. The lacquered polycarbonate construction keeps the expression crisp and cohesive across the shade and base, while a discreet brass dimmer button adds a considered tactile detail.

The VP9 is intended primarily for indoor use. It may be taken outdoors temporarily, but it is not waterproof and must be protected from exposure and stored indoors after use.
