Como SC53, Portable Lamp, Dimmable, Bronzed

Designed by Space Copenhagen, Como SC53 gives the familiar mushroom-shaped table lamp a cordless, portable form. Its compact silhouette is defined by a gently tapering base and a softly curved shade, bringing a composed presence to a bedside table, dining setting or reading corner. The bronzed finish lends the design a warm, understated character.

Rather than being fixed to one point in a room, Como can move with the moments that call for light. Its rechargeable battery and three-level dimmer make it easy to adjust the atmosphere, from a more focused pool of light to a softer glow for evening use. The simple profile also allows it to sit comfortably among a range of interiors, whether used alone or as part of a considered table arrangement.

The lamp’s shape is formed from hand-spun aluminium, with a moulded battery compartment. The design balances the familiar proportions of a traditional table lamp with the practical freedom of a portable light. Designed in 2020, Como SC53 is suited to changing settings at home, from a console or side table to an outdoor table for temporary use.

Como is intended primarily for indoor use. It may be taken outdoors temporarily, but should be brought back inside and stored indoors after use. To keep its finish in good condition, wipe the shade with a dry cloth and avoid abrasive cleaning tools and strong cleaning agents.
