Como SC53 Portable Lamp – Aluminium

Como SC53 is a compact portable table lamp designed by Space Copenhagen to bring soft, ambient light to the spaces where it is needed. Its restrained mushroom-like silhouette is formed by a gently tapered base and a softly curved shade, creating a balanced profile with a distinctly architectural presence.

This Aluminium version gives the design a contemporary material expression. An anodized aluminium construction is finished with a brushed matte appearance and subtle sheen, allowing the lamp to sit comfortably alongside both natural and highly considered interiors. Its compact scale makes it suited to bedside tables, consoles, dining settings and occasional surfaces in residential, hospitality and restaurant environments.

Designed for flexibility, Como can be moved between indoor spaces as the atmosphere or arrangement changes. It may also be taken outdoors temporarily, although it should be kept and stored indoors. The cordless format supports a more relaxed approach to placement, while the softly shaped shade directs attention towards the warm, intimate quality of the light rather than the mechanics of the lamp.

Como SC53 was introduced in 2020 and combines a refined exterior with carefully integrated functional components. The lamp requires minor initial assembly: the light source is inserted, the shade is placed over the base and turned clockwise into position. With its compact proportions and quietly tactile aluminium finish, Como is designed as an adaptable lighting object for everyday interiors.
