PC Portable Lamp – Iron Red, Ø14 x H22 cm

Designed by Pierre Charpin, the HAY PC Portable Lamp brings a refined, architectural presence to the table. Its compact, rounded form is designed to move easily between settings, offering a considered lighting solution for dining tables, bedside surfaces, balconies, terraces, cafés and restaurants.

A concealed light source gives the lamp a clean, uninterrupted silhouette while directing illumination downwards for focused table lighting. The dimmable control also allows the light to be softened for a warmer, more ambient effect, making the PC Portable equally suited to practical tasks and relaxed evening settings.

Finished in Iron red, the lamp combines a distinctive colour accent with a matte surface that is both scratch-resistant and water-resistant. Its rechargeable, cordless format supports flexible placement indoors or outdoors, while the water-resistant construction and IP44 rating make it suitable for use in a range of sheltered exterior environments.

Part of HAY’s PC Collection, the lamp reflects Pierre Charpin’s restrained approach to contemporary lighting: familiar proportions, discreet functionality and a strong emphasis on how an object performs within its surroundings. The body and shade are made from 95% post-consumer recycled plastic, bringing material awareness to a design intended for everyday use.
