Details
Named after the epic poems of ancient times, the Epic Coffee Table by GamFratesi takes its sculptural character from Greek columns and Roman architecture. Its circular top and monolithic profile give the table a composed presence, while the contrast of simple geometric forms keeps the design distinctly architectural.
For this version, the top and base are finished in Midnight Black Steel. GUBI describes the steel plates as galvanized and lacquered, then treated with hand-finishing processes that create an individual surface expression. The result retains the Epic table’s substantial, sculptural appearance while giving it a more industrial character than the original travertine interpretation.
